Mayor Brandon Johnson is returning to WBEZ 91.5 from 1-2 p.m. Thursday to answer listener questions live on the midday talkshow Reset with host Sasha-Ann Simons.
Last month on “Ask the Mayor,” Johnson took questions from North Side, South Side and even suburban residents about crime, transportation, housing and more.
One listener, Doug from the South Loop, asked about traffic safety. Johnson responded highlighting his plans for bike- and bus-only lanes to move people through the city safely.
Johnson also talked about the city recently joining a federal lawsuit that essentially seeks to preserve the jobs of federal employees targeted by the so-called Department of Government Efficiency.
“WBEZ and Reset wanted listeners to have a direct line to the city’s chief executive to ask their questions about issues important to them, their families and their communities,” said Dan Tucker, executive producer of Reset.
Do you have a question for the mayor?
Call (866) 915-WBEZ between 1 p.m.-2p.m.
The Reset team is looking for pertinent and timely questions and screens all calls for duplicate questions. Callers should expect to talk to a Reset producer and, if selected, given about 15 to 20 seconds to ask their question.
WBEZ’s Reset brings context to the latest Chicago-area news with experts, journalists and newsmakers. For more on Reset and to listen to their segments, visit their website and listen to the show on Spotify or the WBEZ app.
