A 40-year-old man is wanted on suspicion of first-degree murder after police say he fatally shot another man in a northwest Aurora parking lot Saturday afternoon.
Aurora police on Friday identified Marcus Marcelles Harper McCray as a suspect in the shooting in the 1500 block of Macon Street.
Officers were called to a shooting in a nearby parking lot at 2 p.m. and found a 34-year-old Aurora man who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
The man will be identified by the Adams County Coroner’s Office.
Investigators believe the men knew each other, according to the police department.
McCray is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached, Aurora police said in a news release.
