Branham cross country runner Alijah Murillo is the Bay Area News Group’s boys high school athlete of the week for Nov. 24-29.
In online voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Murillo finished with 54.1% of the votes. Miramonte football player Lane Dalton took second with 44.9%.
Congratulations to all the candidates for this week’s recognition.
Murillo, a senior, placed second in the Division II race at the CIF cross country state championships with a time of 14:49.1.
