Piedmont Hills softball player Isabella Paskert is the Bay Area News Group girls athlete of the week for March 24-29.
In online voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Paskert finished with 50.56% of the votes. Dublin lacrosse player Kailie Kahono took second place with 34.21%.
Congratulations to all the candidates for this week’s recognition.
Paskert, a senior, compiled seven hits across three games last week, leading Piedmont Hills to wins over Lincoln-San Jose, Prospect and Silver Creek. She had four home runs, a triple and 11 runs batted in and 10 runs scored across 10 official at-bats, adding three walks.
