Higher ceiling: Bears quarterback Caleb Williams or Cubs center fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong?

Boy, we could chew on that one for a while.

Each is 23. Crow-Armstrong has exploded as a star this season, an All-Star shoo-in and the subject of some MVP talk. Williams hasn’t had his second go-round as a pro yet, but Bears fans can hardly wait for what they’re expecting to be a huge step forward.

In this week’s “Polling Place,” your home for Sun-Times sports polls on the social platform X, we asked voters to pick one.

“Caleb,” @ronw_sportsnut commented, “based on the outcome of this season.”

“PCA might be MVP this year,” @DeyoSahler wrote.

Next, we asked whether or not you’re hoping to see the Rockies break the 2024 White Sox’ record of 121 losses.
