Bears injury report: WRs Rome Odunze and Luther Burden sit out

The Bears held a walk-through Tuesday and issued an estimated injury report, their first of Packers Week.

Wide receivers Rome Odunze and Luther Burden did not participate, with Burden dealing with an ankle injury he suffered in the third quarter Sunday and Odunze fighting a chronic foot issue. Odunze was cleared to play Sunday but felt pain shortly before kickoff and was ruled out. Coach Ben Johnson said the team would consider shutting him down briefly to try to get him back on track.

Linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga, who hurt his hamstring Sunday, was out, as was defensive tackle Andrew Billings, who is sick.

Linebacker Tremaine Edmunds practiced for the first time since going on injured reserve last month with a groin injury, and was regarded as limited. The Bears can active him off IR in time for Saturday’s game.

Notes

• The Packers, who also held a walk-through, estimated a whopping nine players would have missed practice Tuesday. Among them: running backs Josh Jacobs (knee/ankle) and MarShawn Lloyd (calf/hamstring), right tackle Zach Tom (back/knee), defensive end Lucas Van Ness (foot) and receiver Christian Watson (chest/shoulder).

• The Bears cut linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin, who had been promoted from the practice squad to the active roster the maximum three times this season. They would have had to put him on the 53-man roster to play him in games going forward. They signed linebacker Dominique Hampton to the practice squad to take his place.
