Bears receiver DJ Moore and running back D’Andre Swift, who both suffered quad injuries against the Lions, practiced in a limited fashion Friday and are listed as questionable to face the 49ers on Sunday.
Interim coach Thomas Brown sounded optimistic.
“[They] ran around today and looked pretty good. We’ll see how the next couple days go,” he said. “See what happens on game day.”
Receiver Keenan Allen, who was nursing an ankle injury, practiced in full on Thursday and Friday and will play. So will Darnell Wright, who hurt his knee against the Lions but was a full participant the past two days.
Guard Ryan Bates and running back Roschon Johnson remain in concussion protocol and won’t play. That leaves Travis Homer as the Bears’ next option at running back.
Safety Elijah Hicks remians out with an ankle problem.
Safety Kevin Byard (shoulder) and center Coleman Shelton (knee), who are both starters, were limited all week and will play.
