A 1-year-old boy was shot in the right leg about 2:08 p.m. Saturday in the 7700 block of South Yates Boulevard, according to the Chicago Police Department.
The boy was transported to Comer Children’s Hospital, where he is in critical condition.
Police had no information about the shooter, and no arrests have been made. The investigation remains ongoing.
