A 13-year-old boy who was fatally shot in an Englewood home Monday night has been identified.
Tawon Tribble was in a residence in the 500 block of West 65th Place at 6:54 p.m. when a gun went off and he was shot in his chest, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
A Tuesday autopsy determined Tawon died of a gunshot wound to his chest, according to the medical examiner’s office. His death was ruled a homicide.
A person of interest was taken in for questioning, but no charges have been announced.
