A teen boy is in serious condition after he was shot in North Lawndale Tuesday night, police said.
The boy, 15, was on a sidewalk in the 3800 block of West Fillmore Street around 11 p.m. when someone fired shots, according to Chicago police.
The boy was taken to Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound to the thigh. He was listed in serious condition.
The attacker fled the scene and no one is in custody. Detectives are investigating.
