A 15-year-old boy was shot in the 9200 block of South La Salle Street in Princeton Park on Saturday, police said.
Chicago police said the shooting occurred about 12:38 p.m. after a verbal altercation between the teen and an unknown person, who shot the boy in the chest. The teen is in critical condition at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
The investigation is ongoing.
