A 16-year-old boy was wounded in a drive-by Sunday night in Gage Park on the Southwest Side.
The boy was walking in the 2300 block of West 50th Street when a black SUV drove by and someone inside opened fire, Chicago police said.
The boy was shot in the left finger and he walked to a nearby firehouse for help. He was treated on the scene by firefighters and then taken to the University of Chicago Hospital, where he is listed in good condition.
No one was in custody.
Area 1 detectives are investigating.
