Chicago Sports Network now available on streaming service Fubo

Chicago Sports Network has another carriage deal, but it isn’t with the provider everyone’s talking about.

CHSN announced Friday that steaming service Fubo will carry the network on its Pro base channel plan immediately, in time for the Bulls’ game in Milwaukee.

The network remains at an impasse with Comcast, the largest pay-TV provider in the Chicago market.

“Fubo continues to deliver more access for sports fans to watch their favorite teams, and they have made it clear that Chicago sports and their fans are an important part of that growth,” CHSN president Jason Coyle said.

“As we continue to aim to be on every platform where our fans watch, we are excited about the opportunity the Fubo platform provides our fans through their flexible billing terms and availability everywhere.”

Fubo offers a free trial before costing $59.99 for the first month, then $79.99 monthly. Subscribers also will pay a regional-sports fee of $14.99 per month that includes CHSN and Marquee Sports Network.

The company has been a welcome landing spot for regional sports networks, which have been shunned by streamers such as Hulu and YouTube.

CHSN is now available on two streamers, the other being DirecTV Stream. It’s also available on DirecTV satellite and U-Verse and Astound/RCN cable in the Chicago market. It’s on six smaller in-state cable providers, as well.
