OL Owen Fors, Barrington, Sr. 6-4, 300 pounds
Northwestern recruit. Invited to the 2025 U.S. Army Bowl. Led offensive line which helped Barrington average 38 points per game and finish the season 10-2, on top of the Mid-Suburban League West with a perfect 5-0 record.
OL Tommy Fraumann, Loyola, Sr. 6-7, 250 pounds
Michigan recruit. Finished with a 99% protection rate over two years at left tackle. As a junior in 2024, blocked for a back that produced nearly 2,000 all-purpose yards and 22 total touchdowns. Helped the offense score over 30 points per game in 2024 and 23.8 in 2025.
OL Claude Mpouma, Mount Carmel, Sr. 6-7, 308 pounds
Nebraska recruit. All-Conference selection in the CCCL/ESCC Blue. Helped lead the Caravan to an undefeated season and the Class 8A state title with nearly 2,000 yards rushing and 25 rushing TDs.
OL Gene Riordan, Hinsdale Central, Sr. 6-5, 280 pounds.
Iowa recruit. West Suburban Conference Offensive Lineman of the year. Anchored an offense that accumulated 3,500 yards, 46 TDs and rushed for 5 yards per carry in one of the state’s best conference.
OL Rico Schrieber, Marist, Sr. 6-7, 315 pounds
Purdue recruit. Lineman of the year in the CCL/ESCC Orange. Two-time all-conference selection. Dominant in the trenches in both the running and passing game.
QB Jonas Williams, Lincoln-Way East, Sr. 6-2, 215 pounds
USC recruit. Sun-Times Player of the Year. Set state records for career passing yards (11,347) and career passing TDs (147). Threw 20 more touchdown passes than any player in IHSA history.
RB Aaron Stewart, Warren, Sr. 5-7, 185 pounds
Illinois recruit. Led the state with 338 carries, 2,872 yards and 46 touchdowns for the Blue Devils, who finished 9-2 and won the North Suburban conference.
RB Maxwell Warner, Young, Sr. 5-10, 185 pounds
Missouri recruit. Finished with 123 carries for 1,156 yards. Averaged 9.4 yards per carry and 116 yards per game. Had 16 rushing TDs and 10 receptions for 157 yards. Also started on defense and made 14 tackles and one interception.
TE Gavin Mueller, South Elgin, Sr. 6-6, 255 pounds
Miami recruit. One of the top tight ends in the country. Had 59 carries for 669 yards and 20 rushing TDs. Caught 32 passes for 515 yards and 10 TDs.
WR Quentin Burrell, Mount Carmel, Jr. 6-3, 175 pounds
Ranked as one of the top 50 players in the country in the Class of 2027 by 247Sports.com. Helped lead Mount Carmel to an undefeated season and the Class 8A state title with 67 receptions for 1,124 yards and 14 TDs.
WR Keaton Reinke, St. Charles North, Sr. 6-4, 205 pounds
Northwestern recruit. Helped the North Stars to a 10-2 record and the Class 7A quarterfinals with 51 catches for 819 yards and six TDs. Broke school records with 80 catches for 1,218 yards and 18 TDs as a junior. Finished his career with more than 2,000 all-purpose yards and 30 TDs.
ATH Trae Taylor, Carmel Jr. 6-3, 190 pounds
Nebraska recruit. Led an offense that averaged more than 40 points. Completed 82% of his passes (205 of 251) for 3,571 yards and 38 TDs. Also rushed for 633 yards and 12 TDs.
Defense
DL Gabriel Hill, Naperville North, Sr. 6-2, 275 pounds
Indiana recruit. Holds all of the school records for defensive lineman and his 21 sacks is the 20th highest total in IHSA history. Had 52 tackles, 20 tackles for a loss, five sacks and an interception this season. Finished his career with 173 tackles and 64 tackles for a loss.
DL Braeden Jones, Mount Carmel, Sr. 6-4, 250 pounds
USC recruit. Teamed with fellow defensive lineman Joey Quinn to help lead Mount Carmel to an undefeated season and the Class 8A state title. Had 37 tackles, 1 sack, 5 pass breakups and a blocked kick while being the primary focus of the opposition.
DL Kameron McGee, Brother Rice, So. 6-3, 234 pounds
Has 26 offers from colleges including Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State and Notre Dame. Helped lead Brother Rice to the Class 7A state title with 54 tackles, 20 QB pressures, 10.5 sacks, 21 tackles for a loss and 9 pass break ups.
DL Brayden Parks, Brother Rice, Jr. 6-3, 305 pounds
Has 34 offers from colleges including Alabama, Notre Dame and Ohio State. Helped lead Brother Rice to the Class 7A state title with 61 tackles, 30 QB pressures, 7.5 sacks, 23 tackles for a loss and 5 pass break ups.
LB Roman Igwebuike, Mount Carmel, Jr. 6-3, 220 pounds
Has offers from 42 colleges, including Georgia, Notre Dame and Ohio State. Helped lead Mount Carmel to an undefeated season and the Class 8A state title with 111 tackles, 9 tackles for a loss and 3.5 sacks.
LB Matthew Schlenhardt, Maine South, Jr. 6-0, 224 pounds
Led Maine South with 22 tackles for a loss and 54 total tackles. Had 8 sacks, 4 forced fumbles and 6 passes deflected. Two-year starter with 15 total sacks.
LB Santino Tenuta, Montini, Sr. 5-10, 180 pounds
Led Montini to a 14-0 season and the Class 4A state title with 165 tackles, 36 tackles for a loss, eight sacks and an interception. Also a standout wrestler.
DB Nasir Rankin, Morgan Park, Sr. 6-0, 180 pounds
Illinois recruit. One of the best athletes in the state, an impact player on offense and defense who finished with 837 total yards and 11 TDs. Led Morgan Park to a 6-4 record and a state playoff berth.
DB Jake Thies, Fenwick, Jr. 6-0, 185 pounds
Starting safety and running back for Class 6A state champions rushed for 1,307 yards, had 422 receiving yards and scored 20 total touchdowns. On defense, finished with 5 interceptions, 3 forced fumbles, 7 pass breakups and 9 tackles for a loss.
DB Cedric Terrell III, Kankakee, Sr. 5-10, 160 pounds
Dominant player on both sides of the ball. Had 5 interceptions and returned one for a TD. Caught 44 passes for 641 yards and 8 TDs. Also rushed for 233 yards and 5 TDs and threw 2 TD passes. Scored 38 TDs in his career.
DB Mariano Velasco, Oswego, Sr. 5-11, 180 pounds
Led Oswego to the Class 8A state title game with consistently big plays on both sides of the ball. Had 52 tackles, 11 for a loss and broke up nine passes. Finished with 30 receptions for 753 yards and 10 TDs.
P/K Noah Sur, Fenwick, Sr. 6-0, 180 pounds
Northwestern recruit. Finished 58-for-60 on PATs, 8 of 11 on field goal attempts and averaged 40.0 yards per punt, with a long of 58 yards. Made a crucial fourth quarter field goal to help Friars win the Class 6A state title.
