Chilling moment man dressed in black points ‘gun’ at cops sparking SWAT team response with helicopter & dog unit

THIS is the moment chilling footage shows a thug pointing a gun at cops sparking a SWAT response with a helicopter and dog.

Armed cops rushed to Chelmsley Wood, Birmingham, after the man was seen with the weapon on Thursday evening.

Shocking video shows the man, dressed all in black, pointing the gun in the direction of officers outside a house before he casually walks back inside the property.

A huge police response descended on the address – including armed officers, dog units and a force helicopter.

It is not yet clear whether then man was arrested after barricading himself inside the house.

West Midlands Police said: “A man has been arrested after pointing a suspected firearm at officers in Birmingham.

“At around 4.45pm yesterday afternoon (27 June) on Briddsland Road, a man pointed a suspected air weapon towards officers and members of the public on three occasions.

“On the third occasion, the man discharged the air weapon towards the street.

“Fortunately, no one was injured and no damage has been reported.

“Firearms officer swiftly detained a man in his 60s and arrested him on suspicion of possessing a firearm with the intent to cause fear of violence.

“He remains in custody for questioning.

“Officers have recovered, six suspected air weapons and a suspected air rifle as our searches continue.
