CineVita, the 15,000-square-foot Belgian spiegeltent at Hollywood Park next to SoFi Stadium, is gearing up for a busy season with back-to-back immersive shows.
The venue will host Tarantino Live from Oct. 3 – Nov. 16, followed by the world premiere of TINSELCOLOR: Holiday Soundtracks Live, running Nov. 28 – Dec. 31.
Tarantino Live, billed as a “Pulp Rock Extravaganza,” brings Quentin Tarantino’s iconic soundtracks and film moments to the stage with a cast of actors and musicians, including Ty Taylor of Vintage Trouble, Brian McKnight Jr., John Krause from Broadway’s Hadestown, and Cheyenne Isabel Wells from Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies. The production reimagines the director’s most famous musical scenes through live performance, combining theatrics and music that defined his films.
Tickets for Tarantino Live are currently on sale at thecinevita.com.
The show also adds interactive elements for audiences, such as nightly Jack Rabbit Slim’s costume contests, a cinematic graveyard installation on the plaza, and themed cocktails like the Planet Terror Margarita. Non-alcoholic craft cocktails are also on offer through a partnership with Ritual.
Once Tarantino Live concludes, CineVita shifts gears into holiday programming with TINSELCOLOR: Holiday Soundtracks Live. From the team behind Love Actually Live, the production transforms seasonal film favorites into a theatrical concert. A special New Year’s Eve performance will close out the run.
Both productions are staged by For The Record, a Los Angeles-based company known for combining film and live performance. The group has built a reputation with shows like Scorsese: American Crime Requiem, The Brat Pack, and Baz: Star Crossed Love. They launched CineVita earlier this year as the largest spiegeltent in the world, designed to house their immersive productions at Hollywood Park before embarking on a U.S. tour.
