A story that ran on the cover of the East Bay Times on Saturday, April 5, about a group recruiting activists from Craigslist to oppose rent control incorrectly stated that Concord’s amended rent control ordinance, capping increases to 5%, would have been one of the most restrictive in the Bay Area. In fact, the city’s original ordinance, which capped increases at 3%, had been one of the most restrictive in the Bay Area.
