The panels on the first day of the event covered a variety of topics, including how to create your costume, while others focused on beloved franchises such as “Star Wars,” “Star Trek” and “Batman Beyond.” One of the Batman panels featured directors and writers to go behind the scenes of how they created an impactful animated spinoff series.
Among the other panels was one focused on the reunion of the cast of “Teen Titans” and “Teen Titans Go!”, featuring appearances by Khary Payton (Cyborg), Greg Cipes (Beast Boy), Hynden Walch (Starfire), Scott Neville (Robin), and Tara Strong (Raven).
Other star-studded panels featured a “Halo” panel, which included voice actors Steve Downes, who voiced Master Chief, and Jen Taylor, who voiced Cortana. Janet Varney, the voice of Korra from “The Legend of Korra,” the sequel to “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” held a Q&A to give fans insights and updates from the animated series.
Sunday’s headlining panels focused on a “Smallville” cast reunion from the CW show, featuring cast members Tom Welling, Kristin Kreuk, Erica Durance, John Schneider, and Michael Rosenbaum, who answered fans’ questions about their experiences.
There was also a separate ticketed event for Smallville Nights, at which Welling and Rosenbaum reenacted scenes from the series with some audience participation.
