PANOCHE, Calif. – Cal Fire crews on Thursday afternoon were battling a brush fire in eastern San Benito County.
The blaze, dubbed the Panoche Fire, broke out around 4:10 p.m. on Panoche Road, west of Panoche. As of 4:50 p.m., the fire had burned 75 acres and was 0% contained.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
