No one was injured in a residential fire Wednesday night in the North Center neighborhood.
Crews battle a blaze at a residence in the 1900 block of West School Street. No one was hurt.
About 6 p.m., officials responded to a call of a fire inside a four-story building at 1927 W. School St., according to the Chicago Fire Department.
The fire spread beyond the building, damaging and damaged two neighboring buildings, causing officials to take a defensive approach to the blaze, officials said.
Crews used four hose lines to battle the fire. It was extinguished by about 7:30 p.m., according to the fire department.
