A cyclist who was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Denver over the weekend has died, police said late Sunday night.
The cyclist was hit in the area of West 14th Avenue and Yates Street, Denver police reported on X shortly after 2 a.m. on Saturday. The cyclist, who was not identified, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police on Sunday evening reported that the cyclist had died. Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision that took place just a few blocks from the Lakewood city line.
No suspect has been identified.
