Noteworthy: Leon played a major part in Chatsworth’s semifinal win over Sylmar to reach the L.A. City Section Division II championship game. He scored the game-winning touchdown on a 14-yard run with five seconds remaining in the game and ended the evening with 103 yards rushing. The Chancellors executed a 2-point conversion after the touchdown to beat Sylmar 21-20. They will play South Gate in the finals on Saturday at 2:30 at Birmingham Charter High School.
