Police are investigating a “suspicious death” in Commerce City on Saturday after a dead body was found hidden behind a dumpster.

The body — an unidentified adult man — was found behind a dumpster at East 64th and Holly streets around 11 a.m. Saturday, the Commerce City Police Department said in a statement on social media.
The area around the intersection is home to a townhome apartment complex, Central Elementary School, multiple gas stations and a Commerce City neighborhood.
Police said there is no threat to the public.
