A Denver man was convicted of attempting to entice a minor for illegal sexual activity after he drove to Wyoming, where he arranged to have sex with a girl he had been told was 13.
Gabriel Estrada, 30, was talking to an undercover agent who was impersonating a teenager on a chat app. He drove to Laramie after confirming the girl would have sex with him and asking if she had friends willing to participate in a sexual encounter. He told police he didn’t believe the girl was actually 13, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office for the Wyoming district.
