Denver officers are searching for a driver who struck a pedestrian and fled the scene earlier this month, according to the police department.
The hit-and-run happened in the early morning hours of Friday, June 13, near North Federal Boulevard and West 6th Avenue, according to the Denver Police Department.
That intersection is on the cusp of four Denver neighborhoods: Barnum, Valverde, Villa Park and Lincoln Park.
Police said the pedestrian, who was not publicly identified, was seriously injured in the crash.
The unidentified driver was headed southbound on Federal in a white Mercedes-Benz with license plate CLA250 when the crash happened, police said. The driver then fled the scene without stopping or leaving any information behind.
Investigators said the car may have heavy damage to the front bumper.
Anyone with information about the crash, the driver or the car is asked to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 or submit a tip online at metrodenvercrimestoppers.com.
Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
