Denver’s city website is down with no estimated time of restoration

Denver’s website was down for hours Tuesday morning and afternoon, with no estimated time for restoration, according to city officials.

The city didn’t have information about what caused the denvergov.org outage as of 2 p.m., spokesperson Jon Ewing said.

“We are experiencing a citywide network outage that is affecting multiple applications and technology systems,” Ewing said in a statement. “Technology Services is working to identify and address the issue and we will provide updates to staff and community as we learn more.”

Staffers may not be able to sign into city applications and systems, Ewing said.

The entire website — including pages to pay parking tickets, report noise complaints and learn general information — was not functioning.

The city plans to release more information Tuesday afternoon, Ewing said.

This is a developing story that will be updated.
