Disneyland brings back Videopolis and swing dancing for special events

The Disneyland After Dark lineup for 2026 will bring back four perennial favorites that are becoming annual traditions and toss in another throwback party celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Anaheim theme park.

The 2026 Disneyland After Dark lineup will feature the new 70 Years of Favorites Nite along with the return of Star Wars Nite, Sweethearts’ Nite, Pride Nite and Disney Channel Nite.

The 70 Years of Favorites Nite on March 3 and 5 will include swing dancing in Fantasyland’s Royal Theatre, a Videopolis Dance Party at Tomorrowland Terrace and Woody’s Round Up line dancing in the Golden Horseshoe.

Rare characters from the Carousel of Progress, The Sword and the Stone, A Bug’s Life and Fantasmic will make meet-and-greet appearances.

Photo op backdrops will include tributes to the Main Street Electrical Parade, Club Buzz and the Mad T Party.

The returning Sweethearts’ Nite on nine nights in January and February will feature the new “Once Upon a Dream” show and Celebrate Love cavalcade.

Sweethearts’ Nite 2026 dates include Jan. 22, 25 and 27 and Feb. 3, 5, 8, 10, 12 and 17.

Disney Channel Nite 2026 on April 12, 14 and 16 will feature nods to various eras of Disney’s kids television network.

The Star Wars Nite 2026 events will run on April 28 and 30 and May 4 and 6 and feature photo ops with Star Wars characters and specialty themed food. Expect that May the Fourth date, marking the unofficial Star Wars holiday, to sell out first.

The Pride Nite 2026 events will run on June 16 and 18 and feature rainbow-colored streets, buildings, attractions, dance parties and photo opportunities with Disney characters in a celebration of all things LGBTQ.

Tickets for Sweethearts’ Nite and 70 Years of Favorites Nite go on sale Dec. 9 for Inspire Key holders, Dec. 10 for all other keyholders and Dec. 11 for the general public. Tickets start at $159 and sales begin on each date no earlier than 9 a.m.

On sale dates for Star Wars Nite and Disney Channel Nite will be announced in early 2026 and for Pride Nite in spring 2026.

All five of the 2026 After Dark events will take place at Disneyland.

All of the Disneyland After Dark events typically feature specialty-themed entertainment, character meet-and-greets, photo op backdrops, food and drinks, collectible merchandise, commemorative keepsakes and unlimited PhotoPass digital downloads along with select rides and shows.

Pre-party mix-in starts at 6 p.m. each night with the private event running from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. each evening. No theme park reservations are required to attend the separate-admission events. Parking is not included.
