He is understood to have been racing a BMW 135i moments before the tragedy unfolded.
Bhachu today pleased guilty to two counts of causing death by dangerous driving.
The BMW driver, Jasskamal Riyat, 35, pleaded not guilty to two counts of causing death by dangerous driving.
He will stand trial at Leeds Crown Court on January 6, while Bhachu was remanded into custody to await sentencing.
Justyna and Lena were walking to nursery in Leeds on January 16 last year when the horror unfolded.
Bhachu’s high-powered Audi left the road and hit the pair before smashing into a Jaguar dealership.
Tragically, the mum and daughter couldn’t be saved and were declared dead shortly after.
A GoFundMe page set up to raise money for the family received more than £33,000 in donations.
Tributes also flooded in for the little Lena and her mum, who had been due to turn 28 just two days after the crash.
Justyna’s sister said at the time: “Today, my dear sister, I wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday!
“And to hug you a lot.
“Instead of that I wish you rest in peace.
“I will never forget you and I will have you in my heart! May the angels sing to you there.
“I love you so much! Some day we’ll meet at the top.”
