A driver escaped a fiery rollover crash early Friday on the Stevenson Expressway on the Southwest Side.
The crash happened around 4:20 a.m. on the southbound ramp of I-55 at Pulaski Road, when a driver struck a guardrail, overturned and caught fire, according to Illinois State Police.
The driver escaped and fled the scene, state police said. The fire was extinguished a short time later.
No injuries or lane closures were reported.
