Police are searching for the driver who struck a bicyclist in a hit-and-run last month in East Garfield Park.
On Aug. 24, the 55-year-old bicyclist was riding near Garfield Park in the 3500 block of West Washington Boulevard when he was struck by a blue 1997 Lincoln Town Car around 8:30 p.m., Chicago police said.
The man, whose name was not known, was seriously injured and died of his injuries Thursday, police said.
The driver of the car was a middle-aged man with gray facial hair, police said. The license plate was ES85500-IL.
