Dutch Bros is opening its very first Los Angeles location

The popular nationwide coffee chain, Dutch Bros, is preparing to introduce its first L.A. shop in Exposition Park later this year.

Dutch Bros Coffee, a brand that specializes in high-energy beverages, including frozen drinks and teas, issued a news release teasing the new location.

“What can customers expect from their local Dutch Bros shop? A typical visit will feature upbeat music, energetic broistas (Dutch Bros’ spin on baristas) and outstanding speed, quality and service,” the drive-thru coffee chain said in their statement.

The first Los Angeles location will be located at 3726 S. Figueroa St., near the USC campus, and, like its other shops, will allow customers to walk up to the window. It is on track to open later this year, but the exact date was not listed in the news release.

The new addition to the coffee chain will expand its presence to over 1,000 locations nationwide, known for its customizable and high-energy specialty beverages, such as the Dutch Bros Rebel energy drink.

Along with their menu staples, Dutch Bros is in full cozy season with fall drink specials including the return of caramel pumpkin brûlée, the cookie butter latte and the new candied cherry rebel.

The caramel pumpkin brûlée boasts a pumpkin and salted caramel filling, covered with a layer of soft top, a decadent pumpkin drizzle, and raw sugar sprinkles. It can be enjoyed iced or hot, as a breve, latte, frozen, or chai. The cookie butter latte is made with cookie butter, a swirl of cookie butter drizzle with a soft top, and even more cookie butter drizzle to top it off. It can be enjoyed as a latte, frozen, or as a chai. The new candied cherry rebel features a juicy cherry flavor mixed with Dutch Bros’ exclusive Rebel energy drink, finished with a cherry float and is served blended, iced, or as a fizz for a non-caffeinated option.

“Both Caramel Pumpkin Brûlée and Cookie Butter were a hit with customers last year, so it only felt natural to bring them back for even more fun fall festivities,” said Tana Davila, chief marketing officer at Dutch Bros, in another press release. “We’re excited to debut our new cherry flavor at our stands with the candied cherry rebel that complements the classics while giving customers something new and fun to try.”

Dutch Bros was founded by two brothers in Grants Pass, Oregon, in 1992. Their love of coffee led them to experiment with a double-head espresso machine and 100 pounds of coffee beans to craft the beloved coffee chain, which often has customers lined up around the drive-thru.
