ANTIOCH — A 3-year-old toddler died Tuesday night after police said it shot itself with a gun at a home, police said.
Few details about the incident were available Wednesday morning, including whether the toddler was a boy or a girl. In a statement, Antioch police said they would share additional details as they became available.
Officers were called to a residence on Clearbrook Road off Lone Tree Way about 6 p.m. after calls to the dispatch center that the shooting had occurred. The child died at the scene.
