A fire has broken out at a tanning parlour in Wood Green, north London.

The blaze broke out yesterday afternoon inside Ania’s Tanning and Beauty on High Road, witnesses told Metro.

Video posted to social media shows thick black smoke spewing out from the ground floor of the three-story building before a sudden burst of smoke caused bystanders to flee.

Fire officials have not revealed the cause of the blaze, but it is thought that it started from a faulty tanning booth.

Footage from the scene this morning shows a charred tanning booth and other equipment left outside the shuttered store.
