Former Calabasas estate of actor John Stamos seeks $7.3 million

A Calabasas estate originally owned by the “Full House” star John Stamos is on the market for $7.25 million.

The 7,547-square-foot residence in a Mediterranean style boasts six bedrooms, six bathrooms and a formal living area with a two-sided fireplace visible from the entrance. Stamos custom-built the home in 1992.

Designed by architect Les Makowski, the all-white mansion with a red tile roof sits on a 6-acre-plus lot. In October 2001, the actor sold it for $2.15 million.

The property last traded hands in February 2020 for $2.95 million, records viewed at PropertyShark.com show. At the time, the owners embarked on a two-year remodel of the home and its grounds.

Inside, the house has been reimagined with bold, black-veined marble flooring, gold accents and a grand 15-foot crystal chandelier that hangs from its high ceiling. A soaring wall of glass frames the grounds and Malibu Canyon beyond.

The marbled kitchen features dark, glossy cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and a center island.

Images show a formal dining area, all-black wet bar and gym.

The primary suite boasts a vaulted ceiling, a sitting area near the fireplace, a wet bar, a bathroom adorned in black marble and a “glam room” designed for hair and makeup, according to Realtor.com.

Outside, there’s a newly replastered pool with a hot tub and a grotto, a barbecue center and an outdoor fireplace. Multiple terrace, manicured gardens and a long, private driveway to a motor court.

A detached guest suite with a private entrance and secluded patio round out the offering.

Tomer Fridman and Lior Totaiv of Christie’s International Real Estate Southern California share the listing.

Stamos, 62, is most recognized for his role as Uncle Jesse from the 1980s sitcom “Full House” and its 2016 Netflix reboot, “Fuller House.” He’s stayed busy over the years, performing with The Beach Boys, appearing on the Broadway stage and starring in TV films and series. He recently joined the cast of “Palm Royale” on Apple TV+ and voices characters on animated TV series, including “Iron Man and His Awesome Friends.”
