OAKLAND — Four people were arrested in connection with a series of robberies and commercial burglaries Thursday in Oakland, police said.
The spree started just after 4:45 a.m. and involved locations in the 3500 block of Grand Avenue, the 3300 block of Park Boulevard, the 700 block of Market Street, the 4100 block of Redwood Road, the 600 block of High Street and the 2400 block of MacArthur Boulevard, the Oakland Police Department said in a news release.
The suspects used vehicles to break into several businesses, which they then robbed or burglarized, police said.
Officers tracked down the vehicles and arrested the suspects — identified only as three men and a woman — in the 3400 block of Wood Street, police said. Property believed to have been stolen during the robberies and commercial burglaries was also recovered.
Anyone with information related to the case can contact the police department’s burglary section at 510-238-3951.
