Full list of UK school closures and delayed openings after snow and ice warnings

More schools across the UK are to remain closed today as the country continues to grapple with heavy snowfall and flooding.

After a weekend of severe weather, including temperatures plunging to -11C in some places, snowstorms have wreaked havoc on the country’s roads, rail networks, and airports, which has seen flights at Manchester and Bristol airport grounded until further notice.

With three weather warnings still in place, millions of commuters face further disruption this morning, and rural communities may be cut off as up to 15 cm of additional snow is expected to fall today. 

The widespread adverse conditions have led to the closure of schools across the country, primarily in Yorkshire. A full list of which can be found below:
