A corpse that was being transported in a hearse fell out and into some traffic forcing a funeral home to apologise.
A man reported the incident that happened in Stalowa Wola, Poland, on Friday, according to Polish media.
He saw a sheet on his car window and when he slid it down he saw a body lying on the road. For a moment he feared he had hit the person.
An image of his corpse was published by local media on a white striped pedestrian crossing where it tumbled out of the hearse.
The company transporting the corpse, Hades Funeral Services, issued a statement saying there was a technical failure of the hearse.
‘It is with deep regret that we inform you that as a result of an unexpected technical failure of the electric tailgate lock in the hearse, during the transport of the body of the deceased, an unfortunate event occurred which does not reflect the high standards of our company, our deep empathy towards the families of the deceased, and the respect we always show to the deceased,’ the company wrote in a statement.

It apologised to ‘all those who were disappointed and upset by this event.’
This is not the first time a body has fallen out of a hearse after a pallbearer stumbled and fell on top of the coffin as it was being lowered into the ground in front of mourners.
People wailed in shock while others desperately tried to prevent the woman’s corpse from falling out in the district of Pampas, Peru.
The coffin bearer appeared to slip and lose his footing and tumbled into the plot and turned the coffin on its side.
As he clambered out, other people tried to keep the lid on the coffin to prevent the woman’s body falling out any further, but the lid appeared to be broken.
He managed to get out of the grave and the body was eventually interred correctly, allowing the funeral to continue as planned.
A widow also described the horrifying moment her husband’s coffin was dropped and broke open during his funeral, leaving him on view to more than 400 people.
Debbie Swales, 52, said she had been suffering a living hell since the moment her husband’s body was exposed to hundreds of mourners as they tried to lay him to rest.
She was forced to hold a second funeral for late husband Gavin, 55, following the harrowing incident.
