Los Angeles Galaxy goalkeeper John McCarthy will host a meet-and-greet at Norms Restaurant’s Carson location at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 27.
The first 50 customers will receive a voucher for $20 off their purchase, and there will also be free Norms swag at the 90-minute meet-and-greet, according to an Instagram post from the Bellflower-based chain.
The restaurant is at the SouthBay Pavilion Mall, 20420 Avalon Blvd.
The Galaxy plays at Dignity Health Sports Park on the campus of California State University, Dominguez Hills in Carson.
Norms is in a partnership with the soccer club and offers its rewards members free buttermilk hotcakes when the Galaxy scores one or more goals in a game this season, according to a news release.
Norms’ summer specials include baby back ribs, King’s Hawaiian French Toast and BBQ Bahn Mi Sliders.
