You already know “Hamilton” is coming to Indianapolis in December. Now you’re about to know when you can buy single tickets to the performances.
At 10 a.m. Oct. 17, the virtual and literal ticket windows will open wide to everyone who hasn’t already bought season tickets.
In January, Broadway in Indianapolis announced that the mega-hit musical would run at Old National Centre, 502 N. New Jersey St., from Dec. 10-29. The only way to purchase passes to the show so far was to buy season tickets to “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Come from Away,” The Play that Goes Wrong,” “Cats” and “Anastasia” in addition to “Hamilton.”
This will be the first time the musical – with book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda – will be in the Circle City. The story is based off Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton. It’s produced by Jeffrey Seller, Sander Jacobs, Jill Furman and The Public Theater.

Here’s what you need to know before you pull out your credit card Oct. 17 or choose to wait and play the $10 lottery.
How much are Hamilton tickets?
Prices range from $75 to $199, and premium seats are $350 and $400. The purchase limit is eight tickets per household.
Premium seats are select front orchestra and center royalty seats.
What dates are Hamilton single tickets available?
You can buy them for any date during the run of the show, which is Dec. 10 through 29.
Where can I buy Hamilton tickets?
Buy them online at ticketmaster.com.
Or purchase them in person – not by phone – at the Old National Centre box office at 502 N. New Jersey St. The box office will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 17. It will then be open regular hours, which are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday.
Broadway in Indianapolis said a number of overpriced and fraudulent tickets could be for sale, so it recommends audiences buy passes in the ways listed above.
