High school football rankings Week 3, 2025: Bay Area News Group Top 25

After a wild week of games, the rankings have high risers and steep droppers.

McClymonds found its way back near the Top 6 after an impressive win at home over St. Francis.

Acalanes jumped into the Top 10 after torching visiting Menlo-Atherton for 42 points. The Dons, who beat Archbishop Mitty in Week 1, now have wins over two Central Coast Section teams.

Speaking of Mitty, the Monarchs bounced back nicely with a two-score win over Wilcox.

For that, Mitty enters the rankings at No. 20.

Serra, St. Francis, Wilcox and Amador Valley are all still winless and took a big hit for that, falling well below their Week 2 spots. Liberty also dropped, from No. 10 to No. 24, following a blowout home loss to Los Gatos.
