Hombre muere en accidente en Gage Park y la policía publica foto del auto involucrado
La Policía de Chicago publicó una foto del vehículo involucrado en un accidente mortal de fuga en el vecindario de Gage Park, ocurrido en la madrugada del sábado, según informaron las autoridades.
Jermaine Martin, de 22 años de edad, se encontraba en el paso peatonal en la cuadra 5400 al sur de Kedzie Avenue a eso de las 3:20 a.m. del sábado cuando un conductor en una camioneta gris se pasó un semáforo y cruzó la intersección, según la Policía de Chicago. El conductor atropelló a Martin y se dio a la fuga.
Martin, residente de la cuadra 1800 al sur de Harding Avenue en North Lawndale, fue llevado al Hospital Mount Sinai, donde fue declarado muerto a las 4:14 a.m., según la Oficina del Médico Forense del Condado de Cook. Una autopsia realizada el domingo determinó que la muerte de Martin fue un homicidio, según la oficina del médico forense.
