Police said that the motorcycle involved in the incident is described as black with red hints on it.

It was last seen heading in the direction of Fenham Hall Drive following the collision.

The force have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses to come forward in the Kingsway area.

They are particularly keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time.

Cops urged those with dashcam footage of the moments leading up to the collision to come forward to help with the investigation.
