The San Francisco 49ers face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, Oct. 12 at 1:25 p.m. PT at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
The 49ers’ quarterback situation is still shaky as Brock Purdy has not practiced this week with turf toe and Mac Jones works through knee and oblique injuries. Jones gutted through those issues last Thursday to help the 49ers to a road win over the Rams, but can he do it again?
Tampa Bay is a surprise 4-1 team, like the 49ers, as Baker Mayfield has led the Bucs to some last-minute victories early in the season.
