Hunt for man who tried to snatch two children off busy street in east London

A man tried to snatch two children off a busy street in east London.

Police have released an e-fit of the suspect after the terrifying incident on Bow Road at around 4.30pm on November 27.

It would have occurred close to a police station and magistrates’ court on the same road.

The suspect is described as a white man with blonde hair, wearing a white t-shirt and black trousers.

Tower Hamlets Police issued an appeal for information on X.

They wrote: ‘We are appealing for help to identify a man we want to in connection with the attempted kidnapping of two children which took place around 4.30pm on November 27, Bow Road, E3.

‘The man is described as a white man with blonde hair, no facial hair and of a short height.

‘He was wearing a white t-shirt and black trousers with black shoes.’

Anyone recognising the suspect is urged to contact the police.
