Two people were killed in an early Friday morning crash on Interstate 25 near 6th Avenue in Denver.
Both motorists were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which was reported to police just before 3 a.m., the Denver Police Department said on social media. The incident prompted the closure of the northbound lanes of I-25 near Santa Fe Drive, which were reopened just after 6:30 a.m.
Police are investigating the crash.
