Remember everyone’s favorite 2000s clothing line, Baby Phat? You know, the line with the puffer jackets and all the rhinestones? Well, rejoice, aughties lovers: Baby Phat is making a grand return thanks to designer Kimora Lee Simmons-Leissner and fast fashion chain Forever 21.

The brand recently relaunched its accounts on social media and has been teasing fans for weeks about something coming. Featuring its signature logo, the website also relaunched with the text, “coming summer 2019.”

On Tuesday (June 11), Forever 21 got in on the promo spree by posting a video to their social media accounts with a pager that reads, “Txt me bak. xoxo K.L.S.”.

The company captioned the video with, “What’s the buzz about tho?” and teased, “[Two] more days until the cat is back.” (FYI: The logo for Baby Phat is a cat.)

Simmons-Leissner, who left her role as Baby Phat creative director in 2010, announced back in March that she had purchased the label back from an unnamed company. She told WWD in March that she had to “hunt around to find it.” Simmons-Leissner hinted that nostalgia will be a part of the line, which will include “mainstream sportswear” targeted at millennials in the “mid-tier retail level.”
