Senior aides to the King and the Duke of Sussex have been seen together in what could be a sign of reconciliation between the two royals.
The King’s communication secretary Tobyn Andreae was spotted meeting two members of Harry’s team at the Royal Over-Seas League near Clarence House in London.
Pictures shared by the Mail on Sunday showed Andreae with Harry’s chief communications officer Meredith Maines as well as the Sussexes’ UK PR chief Liam Maguire.
It is unknown which side initiated the meeting however it is thought to be a step towards the thawing of what has been an icy relationship between father and son.
A rift opened between the Duke and the King when Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, mentioned in an interview with Oprah Winfrey that a royal had asked about their son Alfie’s skin colour before he was born.

Relations were further damaged following the release of Harry’s memoir Spare, in which he claimed he was physically attacked by his brother, the Prince of Wales and suggested the King was jealous of his wife, Meghan.
It’s been five years since Harry and Meghan stepped back as working royals and set up a new life in California.
The Duke has since hinted that the royal family were hoping that he would ‘be forced’ to return to the UK out of concern for his security.
He lost an appeal against the dismissal of his High Court claim against the Home Office, following a decision by the executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) that he should receive a different degree of protection when in the UK.
The King was diagnosed with cancer in February 2024.
In a BBC interview, Harry said he does not ‘know how much longer my father has’ as he spoke of his hopes for a ‘reconciliation’ with his family.
