History of winemaking

Dave House of House Family Vineyards and the Saratoga Historical Foundation will present “The History of Winemaking in Santa Clara Valley and Santa Cruz Mountains” on Monday, Feb. 17.

Tony Bennett tribute

“Matt Dusk Sings Tony Bennett” in a Feb. 19 tribute show at Montalvo Arts Center’s Carriage House. Dusk returns to Montalvo by popular demand after performing a “Simply Sinatra” tribute.

City hall closure

Saratoga City Hall will be closed on Monday, Feb. 17 to observe President’s Day. City services will resume per usual on Tuesday, Feb. 18.

Valentine’s Day is for the birds at Campbell park

Disability advocate Haben Girma, also the first deafblind graduate of Harvard Law School, will speak at West Valley College on Wednesday, Feb. 12.

Girma will speak at West Valley’s assistive technology fair, set for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the college’s campus center, and will sign copies of her book “Haben: The Deafblind Woman Who Conquered Harvard Law.” Attendees at the free event can also attend workshops and demonstrations for assistive technology and join tours of West Valley College.
