Legoland California kicks off the holidays with Brick the Halls celebration

Legoland California will celebrate the winter holidays with a new seasonal overlay on the Driving School ride, a new brick-built Santa, sleigh and reindeer and a three-story-tall Lego Christmas tree made with more than 360,000 bricks.

The Legoland Brick the Halls celebration starts Saturday, Nov. 22 and runs on select days through Jan. 4 at the Carlsbad theme park.

The Lego Nutcracker marching band will roam through the park filled with larger-than-life Lego holiday models and falling “snoap” snow.

The holiday entertainment lineup includes “Brass Band Holiday Bash” and “Once Upon a Brick-Mas” along with a nightly Santa’s Elf Tree Lighting ceremony.

Holiday fireworks will cap the evening on Saturdays Dec. 6 and Dec. 13 and nightly Dec. 20-31.

Lego holiday characters like the Gingerbread Man, Snowman, Reindeer Girl and Nutcracker will be on had for meet-and-greet photo ops.

Legoland visitors can also snap “elfies” with a giant Lego wreath or a life-size brick-built Santa and his sleigh pulled by two reindeer.

Holiday food offerings will include Gingerbread White Chocolate Mocha, Peppermint Bark Frappe, Mocktail Jack Frost, Pumpkin-Tini and Yeti Ice Cream.

The newly refurbished Lego Shop at the park’s entrance will reopen Thanksgiving week.

All seasonal offerings are included with general park admission and select annual passes.
