Charlie Kirk, one of the most dynamic conservative figures of this generation was cut down prematurely by an assassin at the young age of 31, leaving a loving family behind.
He is now a martyr for our founding principles.
Charlie had an incredible ability to dialogue with folks on all points of the political spectrum through the use of factual reasoning and persuasion. He fearlessly championed the principles of faith, family values, free markets, patriotism, personal responsibility, the rule of law and national security.
Although there is deep sadness and anger over Charlies’ death, now is not the time for deflation. The battle for common sense in our society must be fought more than ever so that partisan rhetoric and violence is reduced in favor of conversations and debate.
Let us pray that some folks on the left will not attempt to turn the shooter into a hero as they did with Luigi Mangione.
RIP, Charlie Kirk.
